Ruediger Rey – Strategic Sales Executive, Author, Trusted Advisor

I’m Ruediger Rey – an experienced sales executive, published author, and someone who knows what it’s like to operate at the highest level… and what it means to hit rock bottom.

With over 30 years in high-stakes B2B sales, I’ve helped companies position their products and solutions in complex, competitive markets — always with a strategic, value-driven, and human approach. My background spans cybersecurityautomotive software (HMI, ADAS, AR), and most recently, Real-Time Location Services (RTLS) and indoor intelligence solutions for Industry 4.0.

In my role as Global VP Sales at Inpixon, I lead international enterprise sales efforts across Europe, the US, and APAC. My current and former customer base includes industry leaders in manufacturing, logistics, and medical technology — companies like VW/CARIAD, Siemens Healthineers, Lamborghini, Audi, BMW, Ford, Jaguar Land Rover, Siemens Energy, Adidas, Puma, Canadian Airforce, Lufthansa and many others.

Why I Do What I Do

In 2012, I went through a life-changing burnout. On the outside, I was still performing — but on the inside, I was empty. That experience reshaped my view of success, balance, and self-leadership. I learned to say no, rediscovered joy, and came back stronger.

That journey sparked a deep desire to share my experience. My short to medium-term goal is to support sales teams, leaders, and high performers as a coach, mentor, or strategic sparring partner — not as a guru, but as someone who’s walked through fire and come out wiser.


A Few Personal Facts

  • Married with two wonderful children (grown up already)
  • Loves sunny destinations with palm trees
  • Passionate about mechanical watches (GMT, automatic – incl. Rolex & Breitling) and Porsche 911s
  • Trained in Japanese martial arts for focus and clarity
  • Deep into history and historic military strategy – like Sun Tsu, Musashi and the Ancient Greek and Roman strategists like Gaius Julius Caesar or Alexander the Great.
  • Enthusiastic genealogist tracing his roots (already going towards 1100 a.D.)
